I like things, I especially like to buy things. Some of things I get are on my Vision Board, others are just something I desire. One thing I have learned is that often the anticipation of getting stuff that I want is greater than the joy of actually having it. It’s the feeling of desire that is so wonderful, and once I’ve acquired the object of my desire, that good feeling goes away and is replaced with a new desire.
So, what I try to do is enjoy the feeling of wanting as long as I can because I know that once I have gotten what I want, I’ll just want something else.
For me, there is never enough money or stuff to fill the void, but there is always enough desire to fill it.
Once I discovered that, I learned to enjoy the wanting.
